[to have and to hold]
the most powerful and effective form of communication is the human voice, but most of the time you can’t yell out, so you must instead reach out to your audiences by way of visual communication. at this time and age people depend on the internet and spend much of their time in front of one screen or another, but it has shown true time and again that people respond much better to things they can see and touch, than things they only see. people like to fold up, tuck away, write on, forget about, rediscover, and to hold in their hands. print is often as much about being able to feel as it is about seeing.
